Howard Donkin, CPA Tax Partner
Howard Donkin, CPA, is a Jacobson Jarvis Tax Partner with more than 20 years experience in serving the not-for-profit community.
Howard is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants (WSCPA), where he served as past Chairman of the Not-for-Profit Committee and past chair of the Tax Sub-Committee.
Howard volunteers his time to the AICPA Exempt Organization Technical Resource Panel to study tax issues for not-for-profit clients on a national level. He is the former chair of the Bellevue Arts Commission and chairs the Finance Committee of the Bellevue Schools Foundation. He is also a member of Executive Alliance's Public Policy Forum.
Howard’s areas of interest include: social service organizations that provide assistance to families & children, arts organizations, museums, housing organizations, foundations, private schools, social clubs, and trade associations.
He is available to consult on complex tax issues, IRS determination letters, exempt organization audits, voluntary compliance issues, state and local tax issues, operational improvements, strategic planning, investment policies, board development and organizational tax planning.

He is a frequent speaker at the Not-For-Profit Conference, a member of the Exempt Organization Tax Review, Chairs the CFO/Controller Roundtable and is a liasion to the ABA Nonprofit Committee.
