Char Davies, CPA Consulting Software Partner
Char is a founding partner of Jacobson Jarvis, where he puts his experience as a teacher and accounting manager to work in service of not-for-profit organizations.
Char manages the Software section of the Consulting department. Since 1991, he and his staff have performed installation and training on more than 300 accounting software systems for not-for-profit organizations throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Char is a "factory-trained" Sage Software Certified Trainer.
He has been recognized by the manufacturer as a top reseller of the Sage MIP Fund Accounting system in the United States.
Char is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Washington Society of Certificated Public Accountants (WSCPA).
Char's previous experience includes personally managing the accounting function of various not-for-profit organizations, as well as providing instruction in communications at The Evergreen State College.
His personal commitment to not-for-profit organizations includes service on the board of directors for Puget Sound Neighborhood Health Centers and Bailey-Boushay House. Char has also served on the Management Consulting Committee of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants.
