JJCo Support Plan for Sage MIP Users - Overview

At the completion of a Sage MIP Fund Accounting system implementation and initial user training, most organizations require on-going support, to make the most of their investment and to gain additional efficiencies. To that end we offer the JJCo Support Plan for Sage MIP Users (the Plan), which has two cornerstones:

  • Unlimited, not-on-site, not-in-person support, and
  • A preferred rate for JJCo Sage MIP training classes and webinars

Plan fees are based of the number of licensed users on your Sage MIP system (Executive View licenses are excluded). View fee schedule .

Jacobson Jarvis does not offer telephone, email or on-line support to organizations that are not enrolled in the Plan.

Our Sage MIP training is offered primarily in two modes:

  1. In-person, on-site, with your staff, your accounting data and your Sage MIP accounting system, and
  2. At the JJCo IT Learning Center, via regularly scheduled, hands-on group training classes.

Organizations enrolled in the JJCo Support Plan for Sage MIP Users receive a preferred rate on JJCo training classes and webinars.

For our many out-of-town Sage MIP customers we also provide remote, modularized training using the online tool GoToAssist®. These training sessions are arranged as needed and billed at the standard hourly rate.

JJCo vs Sage Support

The JJCo Support Plan for Sage MIP Users is quite different from that offered by Sage Software and it does not supplant support from Sage. You will want support from both companies.

The strength of Sage Software support is that they have technical, trouble-shooting software knowledge of Sage MIP. The Sage plan provides software maintenance (annual upgrades and fixes) as well as unlimited, more-technically-oriented telephone and email assistance.

The strength of Jacobson Jarvis is unique and provides personalized assistance with MIP matters as well as general nonprofit accounting:

  • We know you
  • We know your organization
  • We know your chart of accounts
  • We are aware of previous issues and challenges with which you have dealt
  • And we are able to incorporate our may years of experience with hundreds of other Sage MIP users into solutions for your organization

The JJCo Support Plan for Sage MIP Users is not an alternative to, nor a substitute for, the Sage Support & Maintenance Plan – you must have the Sage Plan and should have the JJCo Plan.

You may enroll at any time, by sending a check or paying by credit card. JJCo Support Plan for Sage MIP Users fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
