QuickBooks training classes

The regularly scheduled, Jacobson Jarvis two-day QuickBooks Basics course teaches you to adapt and use this popular software product in the nonprofit environment.

You will be introduced to the basics of not-for-profit bookkeeping and the basic features of the QuickBooks system.

  • You will get plenty of hands-on practice
  • We will address the type of information you need to track
  • You will learn how to enter that information and track it in QuickBooks

QuickBooks Basics & Not-For-Profit Accounting

Fee: $450

 

This course covers the report writing features of QuickBooks financial statements, other summary reports, and the detail transactions reports.

  • You will learn how to filter for and display the information you want to see.
  • You will learn how to use the budget feature and we discuss budget strategies.
  • You will also learn how to handle the non-routine areas of not-for-profit accounting using general journals.

At the end of the course, you will have a good idea of what QuickBooks offers, and understand how data is organized within QuickBooks. You will be familiar with common tasks, and know where to find information about advanced features.

NOTE: Payroll is not covered in this class.
